"Yoga Bear" Grizzly Bear Sculpture

First known as the "yoga bear", this particular male grizzly bear made a habit of following the wolf packs in northern Yellowstone around and taking their kills. It would take over their food and then proceed to lounge about wasting the days away while he ate and slept, and in this case, marveled at his own feet. It would stay out long enough to become the "Solstice bear" and later, pushing the envelope of when bears hibernate, became the "Christmas bear" before he finally disappeared to hibernate beneath the white.
