Precast offer on Bull Elk

The bull elk of Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone have become iconic. Many of them even earned individual names and reputations for everything from the ability to herd dozens of females into their harems, to chasing tourists, to ramming automobiles. This piece (shown in clay) was begun several years ago as a likeness of a bull many new as "Godzilla," called so, on account of his curiously shrill bugle. As with most sculptures though, multiple individuals play the part of model and so, in this piece, I pay tribute to the many bull elk I've come to know and admire over the years.
