“From the Brush Country” – White-tailed Deer Sculpture

Done as a preparatory study for the monumental bronze by the same name, this sculpture depicts a specific Texas whitetail deer, but simultaneously symbolized to me the grace and dignity exhibited by my father as he navigated the challenging landscape of a terminal cancer diagnosis.
