“Endurance” – Yellowstone Wolf Sculpture

In the early days of our Yellowstone life, the Druid Peak wolves ruled the Lamar Valley like legends—one of the greatest wolf dynasties ever known. But even empires fall. As illness and harsh winters took their toll, the last Druid daughters stood thin and tattered against the snow, leaning into one another for warmth and strength.

One morning, I watched a lone female—her coat patchy, her body failing—still holding herself with quiet dignity. That silhouette burned itself into memory. She stood not in defeat, but in fierce, enduring spirit.

This sculpture was born from that moment.
A tribute to resilience.
A portrait of grace at the edge of a dynasty’s end.

This sculpture is a reminder of what it means to keep standing—even when the world grows sharp around you.
