“Cold Turkey” – Wild Turkey Sculpture

Cold turkey is a tip of the hat to a trio of turkeys who lived around our home and on the neighbor's property for a couple seasons in one morning when the temperatures dipped to 20 below zero. All three of them huddled on the porch and took on the most energy conserving pose that in itself was a gesture of beauty and design, with 1 foot elevated and tucked into its belly feathers, and the head and neck with its unfettered surface conveniently and artfully tucked at the feathers of the back.
