It would take over their food and then proceed to lounge about wasting the days away while he ate and slept, and in this case, marveled at his own feet. He was our ‘first child,’ and with the arrival of the pink puppy (little George) we often only had those few, quiet moments in the predawn darkness between waking up and my heading out to the studio. He was ostensibly the nemesis to wolf 21 and 42, the alpha pair of the Druid Peak pack of Lamar Valley. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan data-css=\"tve-u-19e6f2b6a09\"\u003eHe was that pesky boy from down the street that was continually courting their adult daughters, and despite having been caught on multiple occasions, he was not killed. Somehow 302 knew how to play this most deadly game in order to fight, rather, love, another day. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI wanted to pay tribute to Wolf 302 in bronze not just because of the fact that I knew him so well, but because he was the first wolf really who taught me wolf language. For these and many other reasons, this sculpture also imbues 907's spirit as well.
